Adoration (n): a feeling of profound love and admiration.
The word kept coming to mind over the course of this beautiful wedding of Jonathan and Ginny. It was mixed with other words, like "adorable, beautiful, laughter, love", but adoration keeps coming back. So I looked it up - just to see the exact definition of the word. Profound love. I love it. Depth. Intent. Purposeful. And it perfectly embodies these two that have just committed the rest of their days to each other.
The day started with a little cleaning, a little snacking, a LOT of laughter and talking, and a little "Maid in Manhattan" playing in the background.
Ginny - you're.....breathtaking.
The wedding was on the ground of the Heritage Hill State Park in Green Bay, WI. It was a wonderful little re-inactment "village", with the perfect classic church on the grounds.
This photo speaks volumes to me - even though it looks ordinary. Jonathan had come up to the front of the church, and was literally bouncing on his feet. Shifting his weight back and forth and bouncing on the balls of his feet. He was anxious, and moving incessantly. And then...Ginny and her father filled the doorway at the back of the room, and it was a like someone unplugged him. He immediately ceased his movement and just started at her with completely rapt attention. Unmoving. Attention held captive.
...and married!!! I LOVE the look she's giving him in the photo on the left!
