Confession: I kill all living plants that I come in contact. Really. Flowers rarely last longer than 3 days in my house, and I'm pretty sure I've actually killed a plant or two of my mother in laws while in charge of watering them. Last summer, I was all hyped up about having planters on our patio to add some color, and I'm not sure I remembered to water them even once. Nick kept them alive for a good amount of time on his own! If there was a parallel to a green thumb, I'd probably have a black one. But, I've come to accept this particular flaw, and have learned to love plants while they last! My friend Laura gave me tulips when she came over the first weekend of February, and true to form, I NEVER WATERED THEM. I swear there is just a mental block I have!! But these troopers bloomed and grew anyway, and I just had to take a few photos of the much blessed color they've brought to my life in the midst of winter dreariness. Thanks, Laura, for an early splash of spring!!
High Key black and white is my most current favorite look. Expect more of this look this year :)
