Max and Maggie :: Married!

There was laughter. There was rain. There were emotional moments. There were silly moments. There was a beautiful bride, and a beaming groom. And there was love. It was Max and Maggie's wedding day!

Maggie spent her morning surrounded by her girlfriends and her family. There were conversations happening in English, Polish, and French. There was champagne. There was clutter and magazines and nail painting. There was a lot of talking, and a lot of excitement.

While I was shooting the girls, my wonderful momma - and second shooter - was over with the boys grabbing these shots...

For as much as I encourage every single one of my couples to do a first look prior to the ceremony - there is something utterly lovely and romantic about this moment. Max is a man in love. It was so evident all day long. He would watch Maggie, he would reach out and hold her arm....it was in his eyes, and in his face. This moment here? It brought tears to my eyes. I just love his face when he sees his bride for the very first time.

These pictures are beautiful, and your work is awesome :D My name is Ashley. I live in Milwaukee, WI and am interested in building my business. I am looking forward to hopefully next year being able to intern with Sarah Barlow, and that is actually how I found you (off of her intern reviews). I hope this doesn't sound weird, but would you be interested in giving me your email? I would love to meet up with you sometime and learn a lot more about boosting my business or just even watch you one day shoot a wedding (for free and for the experience). That is, if you are interested. I understand you might have a busy schedule. I am just looking for any opportunity there is available around here. I hope you consider this idea and let me know. Thank you so much for hearing me out!

Sincerely,
Ashley Santiago
